Group 243 was a graphic design and marketing firm who had as its major client Dominos Pizza in the 1970s and 80s. Group 243 accepted a proposal from David Milling that Osler/Milling Architects in association with Charles W. Moore, FAIA, be architects for their new facility, which was envisioned to be a learning environment for their staff. The sloping site allows the 50,000-sq.ft., three-story building to be entered on the top-most level, where it appears to the visitor to be a one level structure that is residential in character. As visitors move through the complex to the second and first floors, they discover breathtaking views into the woods beyond, and a courtyard.
