DMA prepared a programming and feasibility study for the Taubman Medical Library that included a master plan for renovating the entire building - a total of 125,000 sq. ft. - outlining major upgrades to the electrical system, telecommunications infrastructure, and the mechanical system.

Renovations include new circulation, reserve, and reference desks; renovated space for reference and reserve collections; computer stations, group study rooms, and a popular browsing area; a circulation workroom and an additional reference workroom space.
