Spathelf School for Allied Health on the campus of Ferris State University was built in 1977. The building was required to house radiographic rooms, medical technician areas, dental laboratories, student waiting rooms, x-ray rooms, sterilizer rooms, treatment rooms, examination rooms, a lecture room, dental laboratories, health optics laboratories, medical records laboratory, and other multi-purpose rooms all within 68,900-square-feet.
